Finished Wine Charms :)

Wow, what an evening of wine, beads, hoops, charms and wee little pliers!

Each gift bag will receive a set of 6 wine glass charms. I have 3 themes with 10 gift bags each!!

My little fingers hurt...so the Pears will have to wait for another day :)

The Work Station.....

Sugarplum Faerie - Wine Glass Charms

The Nutcracker Prince - Wine Glass Charms

And lastly.....

Just as they are for the company.....some extra beading supplies :)

Soap Mold

Finally I was able to find another location where I could purchase my final soap mold - The Nutcracker Prince. It is not quite the same as the original one I found but this one might work even better.

Nutcrackers

So....I have kind of changed my mind as time has gone on.

Originally I was going to go and buy 'themed' decorative nutcrackers for each of the kids for their Gift Bags....but as these would be very impractical and not to mention expensive....I found these instead and ordered them from Jolly Ole England!!

Antique Victorian Iron Nut Crackers dating back
to the early 19th Century.

Smelly Stuff :)

For the glycerine soap....

Sugar Plum Dreams (The Sugarplum Faerie) -- my personal favourite :)
Tea & Honey (The Honey Bee)
Fresh Pear (Partridge in a Pear Tree)
Acorn Harvest (The Nutcracker Prince)

Sugarplum Tomatoes!

I ordered these from FlowerAngel Nursery in Texas.....Sugarplum tomatoes have been rated the best tasting grape tomato! Super sweet small fruits have firm texture and form in long clusters which allow for an easy harvest. Excellent for snacks and salads.

Leading a Charmed Life

Well as the last batch of pear charms I bought were just wee little things, I ordered these ones in the hopes that they would be better suited for the wine glass charms. These pears have a quite a bit of weight to them and they have nice markings.

Note Pads

I love these little post-it notes. They accordion out to create a 3D pear shape! They even come with the fancy spongy wrapping, just like real pears :)

Gift Bags

I now have 10 yards of fabric! 5 yrds of Gold and 5 yrds of Purple (looks dark blue on the photo, but it is definitely purple). This fabric has a bit of a sheen to it as well....a nice touch for the Christmas holidays.

This fabric felt is sold by Kunin and made by ecofi. This felt is a high-quality polyester fiber made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles!!

I am very pleased with the colours and now I can't wait to start sewing :)

Wine Glass Charms - Beads

More beads for the wine glass charms....these are a mixture of both 4mm and 6mm beads.

Yellow Pear Drops

Well as I had so much fun creating the Sugarplum Faerie pendants...thought I had to do something more!
This is the first of two packages for a new pendant. Now this one will not be as fancy but I think it will be a nice touch for the Partridge in a Pear Tree theme. The next parcel will have the pear shaped sterling silver pendent settings.

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......Juicy Pear

Okay...well this is will the tell tale of my will power!
I have 13 of these bags...how many will she still have when it comes time to package everything up??
These packages contain 3.5oz (99g) of yummy goodness!

Partridge in a Pear Tree - Growing Pears??

Well who would have thought! Something new to add to the gifts bags.....

Yellow Pear Tomato seeds!!
A very tasty pear shaped yellow tomato.
Colourful in salads, sliced or in preserves.
As rich in vitamins as it is flavourful.
A very popular variety for the home garden.

Sugarplums Dancing in Your Head.....

Well, I have almost finished my Sugarplum Faerie pendants. All I need to do now is solder the hoops closed. I am extremely happy with how they turned out!

Time Delay??

I haven't forgotten about my blog or my little company.....it's just that I have been SOOOO busy. I will do today's blogs by theme again....

Since my last blog, I have received about 25 little wee tiny parcels in the mail! One day, they had managed to squeeze 7 parcels into the mail box!

I have now been trying to order a few things from Hong Kong directly as they offer way better prices and free shipping. It looks like if you keep your order to under $5.00 there are no related taxes or customs. AND, the packages get here faster than from the States (sometimes even faster than Canada Post -- PRE-STRIKE)??

Well, all the pictures are downloaded now...so...off to blog :)
